Coffee Degassing Valve
When coffee beans are roasted, they undergo a complex chemical process that results in the release of carbon dioxide (CO2). This phenomenon, known as off-gassing, is a natural and essential part of the coffee roasting process. The release of CO2 begins immediately after roasting and continues for an extended period, with the most intense degassing occurring within the first 24 to 72 hours.
